maybe you remember my post about my experience 3 weeks ago, waking up crying loud because i was dreaming about my mentaly disabled brother.. i am sure it was a warning sign.
my brother is now hospialized and in a half coma situation.. my parents are broken and on dinial, thinking he will be the same as before the incident.. they are praying for armageddon, so he will be a normal healthy person.. today i visited them all and did see the effect of the watchtower unrealistic predictions and how this mentally effect my parents.. i pray for my brother he will have no pain during this stage of his life.. so, the dream seems a signal, an alarm signal for me.
maybe my brother, who can not speak at all, sended it out to me, living 100 km away.. gorby.
I feel your pain, Gorby. I had a brother who use to take up to fifty-two seizures in a day and is now a memory. Please feel free to pm me anytime. I also have a sister who is in a home for the disabled and her health is declineing with age. If there's anything we can possibly do at this end, please pm us.

generally i go along with it when posters express pity and sympathy for the r&f jw's.
i feel this way toward them too, to a degree.. but where do we draw the line ?

Phizzy, the brother/elder that studied with us along with his friend that he would bring told us they didn't believe half the things society was teaching. Yet, it was taught to us.
We run into an ms once elder yesterday and he said he didn't believe what he was taught but he was just going to stay put where he is. Different jw's that we have run into will say we won't know until we're in the new system. Then why in the world would you tell others if you have doubts yourself? I
It maddens me that we were duped by those who aren't so duped yet played on our innocense and good nature to make themselves look good. They don't dare come by us for they know we now know ttatt and we will give them a piece of our mind like we did to the ms that we ran into yesterday. Apparently, he says he will call us with the answers to our questions but I highly doubt that will happen. Time will tell.

Not any more. I called bethel last week and told them that the visiting brother told the congregation that Jesus is mediator for all of us. Not once mentioning about the 144,000. This was during the public talk and I only knew of it for someone from the congregation called us and laughed about it saying that he is in no way going to tell the speaker any different for he believes also that Jesus is our mediator and not the 144,000 anointed ones. The dummy at bethel had asked me if it were just me and my husband that picked up on this or did we notice if there were others that felt the same way. I said there were others that felt the same way and we just wanted to know if the society had changed their policy on this topic. He said no but that the most important thing here is that I get all my answers through their publications. He asked me if I asked my elders and I told him we are not allowed to ask questions to the elders so then he asked me what congregation it was and who were my elders. I told him I coudn't go to the po for he's in Florida for eight weeks. He goes every winter. See if they do anything with that but I highly doubt it.

Elders are off the hook for they can do their shepherding before or after the meetings or they can kill hours(they don't) by visiting inactive ones in service along with weak ones in their car groups. Kill two birds with one stone and never have to go out of their way. This is a joke!
some of the comments on the anthony morris topics have been despicable.. if someone is an idiot or a biggot then they are damaging themselves.. if 'we' start posting vile filth, insults and threats then it doesn't convince anyone other than we're probably as bad..
It's really good to see you again Grace. I was thinking of you the other day when we came out to our truck and found a spiked nail in the side of our tire. The tire was three hundred brand new to replace. I remember how you had all your tires slashed. The neighbor only calls if there's someone sitting outside our bushline and it was at night so I will give her a call in the morning. I'd like to think it was a random act of sorts and not that whacko family that were all my false accusers. Hope all is well with you.
